  • Attendance Policy

Parents must ensure that their children attend school regularly, except in unavoidable circumstances.

If a student needs to be absent, a leave application must be submitted and approved prior to the absence.

Leave will only be granted with a written application from the parents. For absence due to sickness or emergencies, a leave letter must be submitted on the first day of absence.

Students are not allowed to be absent on the opening day of the school term. Absence on the re-opening day may lead to the removal of the pupil's name from the roll, with re-admission considered at the discretion of the principal.

Except for students with prior permission to go home for lunch, no pupil will be allowed to leave the school premises during school hours.

Half-day leave or permission to leave school during school hours will only be granted in case of an emergency, at the principal's discretion. A written request from the parent is necessary in such cases.

Students absent for more than three consecutive days must submit an explanatory letter from the parents or guardians to the principal.

Leave taken for medical reasons must be supported by a valid medical certificate.

A minimum of 90% attendance is required for promotion to the next grade.

Frequent absenteeism or prolonged absence may result in the removal of the student's name from the roll.

Students suffering from infectious diseases will not be permitted to attend school until they are fully recovered, as per medical guidelines.

This policy ensures that students maintain consistent attendance, which is crucial for their academic progress and overall development. Parents are expected to cooperate and ensure adherence to these attendance guidelines.
